New Brookland Tavern Monday Night Open Mic/Jam Signup Sheet Thanks for taking a look at the new sign up form! Please fill out this sheet so we know you're here and want to perform! Rules: 1. Support the Jam Keep this event here for a long time by buying food and drinks from NBT. 2. Support the Jammers Be the crowd/audience you would want to have if you were performing 3. Keep the stage volume reasonable. Feel free to adjust pedal and amp settings but avoid turning up the volume of amps as much as possible. 4. Alotted performance time may change depending on how many people are signed up. 5. Please refrain from asking the house band to play over complicated songs. It won't be fun for anyone. 6. You must use house amps & drums. If you bring your own pedalboard, please set it up as quickly as possible. 7. Bring your own instruments. We have a house guitar but it's not very good. Make sure you ask someone's permission before playing their instrument. If you play Sam's guitar without asking you will be banned from the Jam period. 8. No main character syndrome. 9. Make friends! 10. No backing tracks, solo performers, or duo acts. Performers must be with their own band or play with a house band. *by getting on stage you’re consenting to be in promotional content during the jam that is recorded, filmed, photographed and subsequently published. New Brookland Tavern is a bar and music venue located in the Five Points neighborhood of Columbia, South Carolina. New Brookland Tavern is one of, if not the oldest, continuous running music venues in the Columbia area. It is known for presenting live music 365 days a year.

New Brookland Tavern is located in the former Cotton Gin building in Five Points - Columbia, SC. The Five Points area features an assortment of local shops, restaurants, bars, and clubs - which includes metered street parking all free after 6pm and multiple city owned parking lots that are free to park in.

Nearest city owned parking lot is located at 2204 Devine St. Columbia, SC 29205 - This lot is free daily and one block away from the venue.

PHOTOS

All cameras are allowed unless otherwise not permitted by the artist - photographers are asked to please

keep flash to a minimum as its distracting to the performers and guests. If you are requesting a photo pass

you must email us or artists management at least 48 hours prior to the show. Only photographers with a

valid photo pass will be allowed special access (on stage, any other staff or band regulated areas). Photographers without a photo pass will not be allowed on stage.

The new location for New Brookland Tavern has 2 full bars downstairs. All food is picked up at the front of the front bar area near the entrance.

LOWER LEVEL BAR IS FREE OF COVER DURING A SHOW UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED ONLINE SOMEWHERE.

ACCESS

Please email carlin@newbrooklandtavern.com for info on ADA access to the show room at least 24 hours prior to the show so we can ensure you have appropriate knowledge of where to go / what to do upon arriving to the venue.

REFUNDS

All presale / advance tickets may be given a refund with 24 hours of purchase. Day of show and at the door ticket sales are final. In the event of a show cancellation, all tickets will be automatically refunded. For inquiries on more info see customer support below.
